The Goderich Chess Club is proud to announce our very first tournament:
The Goderich Gambit. Please see the details below:

Date: Saturday July 11th, 2026
Location: Knights of Columbus – Main Hall (Goderich Columbus Convention Centre & Banquet Hall) 390 Parsons Court, Goderich, ON
Time Control: 15 minutes + 10 seconds increment per move. This tournament will be CFC Rated, and is a 5 round tournament.
Round Schedule:

• Round 1: 10:00 AM
• Round 2: 11:00 AM
• Round 3: 1:00 PM
• Round 4: 2:00 PM
• Round 5: 3:00 PM

Forfeit Time: 5 minutes
Sections: Open Section (All players welcome)
Entry Fee: $30 and a CFC Membership is required
Prizes: Monetary prizes will be awarded based on turnout (after venue costs)
